[ICOM] Re: Icom 7000 questions

I'm about to pull the trigger on a new 7000 for the car.  Any  
suggestions by the list for this particular radio ?  I had a 706mk2g  
before, and had no issues with it the three years it too was in the  
car.  Do you need the microphone mod ?  Will a dealer do the TVRO mod  
for you ?  Any other ideas ?  I've read the eHam reviews and most are  
glowing.
