[ICOM] Icom radio topics

Just wondering if you have any of the optional filters in your 706. Without
them, the 706 is quite broad.

I live in a noisy area and my 706G could not handle
the noise no matter what. I turned the PreAmp off and
the attenuator on and that helped some and the DSP did
nothing. The TenTec Delta handles the noise a lot
better. I recently purchased a 703PLUS and the
receiver is terrific.. Too bad they don't have that
receiver in the 706G. I trust the receiver in the 7000
is improved froom the 706G

Also the only way I could get full out put on my 706G
was at 13.5 volts... 12 volts and the power was
drastically reduced.
