[ICOM] Thoughts on the Icom 7700

Hello Ekki,
The discussion of the lack of a 2nd receiver on the IC-7700 is a very
difficult one.
Icom has decided to design the IC-7700 without second receiver for a
certain price. We can discuss about the price in relation to the
features of the IC-7700 without second RX. The price is high, that's for
sure.
The time will learn if it is wise of Icom to design the IC-7700 without
second receiver and Dualwatch. IMHO it is not very wise and Dualwatch,
e.g. like on the IC-775DSP, would be a much better choice for such an
expensive rig.
Icom says: buy the IC-7800, or buy the IC-756ProII next to the IC-7700.
A number of us will do this, but most of us will not and buy another rig...
