Allan: I do not use MMTTY, but I do know the difference between RTTY and ARTTY.When you operate the Pro III on RTTY using its built in macros, it is running true RTTY with its fundamental transmit frequency actually being shifted by the rig. When you run RTTY using a computer and a sound card interface, The Pro III is esentially running in a suppressed carrier mode with the sound card driving the rig as audio via the mike connector or the rear accessory connector. The program on the computer generates the two required tones as mark and space. If you get no output from a RTTY program on your computer using a sound card or audio method, it is likely the program itself or sound card configuration or audio cable error. Hope this helps.
