Here we go again. Be sure of your facts before making a statement. A
four wire plug can be 240 vac single phase ... hot, hot, neutral and
ground. You need a four wire plug if your amp uses 120 vac ... one hot
and neutral, otherwise you only need a three wire plug.

Three wire plugs usually imply 220 vac single phase, L1, L2 and ground.
Different plug sizes accomodate higher or lower current ratings. A four
wire plug implies 230 vac three phase, L1, L2, L3 and ground. I don't
believe any amplifiers were intended to use three phase but the manual
will tell you.
