[ICOM] 706 Mk 2G FS

	My Christmas wishes were answered and I was given the difference in  
funds to move up to a 7000 in my mobile.

	My Icom 706 Mk2G is for sale, with the separation kit.  It has been  
used mobile for the last three years, mostly on 2m, and a lot of  
scanning on the nearby Public Safety bands.
HF is close to unused, save some listening on 11m for road conditions  
and a few (sadly, very few) band openings on 10m, to good report.   
Nonsmoker.  No filters, but the TCXO is installed. Only mod is the  
mars mod.  Unit was recently benched by Icom USA to repair a loose  
solder, and is now better than new, as I'm pretty sure they replaced  
the entire VHF board (the scanning speed is faster).
The unit is cosmetically good, with some minor wear on the knobs.    
Works well on all bands, but as noted, never used on HF but for 10m.

	I'm asking $675, and giving this list "first shot" before any ebay  
or eham.
