[ICOM] IC-765

I have been given, yes these things do happen, an IC-756. I sent it to Cal
Fisher in Texas for a good "check up". When the box was opened, the unit was
damaged. It looked as if it had been dropped on the PA section and pushed
into the case.  For the past two months I have been sending and receiving
Emails or letters from FedEx.

They are now telling me that the company that packed the IC-765 will have to
file a claim, I had originally filed a claim. Also, they need the sales
receipt , which of course I don't have, or other proof of the original
price.

Does anyone out there have an old catalog that  shows the price of this unit
when it was on the market being sold? If so could you please send me an
email with an attachment showing the price. It sure would be appreciated.

I had it insured for $900.00 as that was what I had been seeing on Ebay and
other ham related web site.
