[ICOM] IC-756Pro3 and Inrad Roofing Filter

I have a Pro III that I attempted to make the conversion. I managed to
render the Pro III inoperative. SMT work is not for the inexperienced tech
and requires the right equipment. I have an intermittent problem I have not
been able to track down. This will be my weekend activity. When the unit
works you can tell the selectivity is greatly improved. The problem I have
is a result of a shaky hand not Inrad.

Hello all.
Inrad offers an enhanced roofing filter[1] for the Pro3. I am contemplating
using this in my rig. Does anybody have practical experiences if the upgrade
is worthwhile?
