Michael -
I had the same problem earlier this week. It turned out to be a
Wallwart power supply for a 7port USB hub. A Navy MARS friend and I
finally found it after about 45 minutes turning everything on and off
in the house. While we stood in the shack congratulating ourselves,
my buddy noticed the s-meter swing upward and the noise was back.
Tracked it first to a UPS and then to a similar Wallwart powering yet
another 7 port USB hub identical to the first one.
Beware the Wallwarts! Especially on a 7 port USB hub with all sorts
of blinking LEDS that you get off Ebay for about $10!
