[ICOM] IC-7700 or IC-7800 vs. IC-775DSP

Hi Anders,

To which one might add that the filters are continuously variable in
bandwidth, have selectable shape factors and offer performance unattainable
with analogue filters.

http://www.ab4oj.com/icom/passband/main.html

Not to forget the tuneable DSP notch filter, inside the AGC loop, with 70 dB
stopband attenuation and selectable bandwidth.

Then there are the DSP noise reduction, DSP noise blanker, integral
DSP-driven spectrum scope, mathematically-perfect DSP-based AGC and
modulation/demodulation processes, DSP-driven audio management and IF-level
compression, etc.

One could go on and on...

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Filter bandwith for digital modes. Filters that are symetrical and sound the
same on USB and LSB.
