So, I downloaded the ICOM 7700 manual(s) from the FCC site and am trying to
figure out it's place in the sun, and maybe my shack.

It has>>

- RS-232 DB9 connector to connect to a PC to do?
- CT-17 1/8" connector to connect to a CT-17 converter to connect to a PC?
And to another ICOM or maybe PW-1
- S/P DIF port for audio.
- Ethernet connector (yea) to connect to the internet to do upgrades?
- Monitor connector to put an external monitor on line
Those are on the back.
On the front are TWO USB ports for a USB memory stick and a USB keyboard to
do PSK-31 and RTTY. But not to connect to a PC?

And the sales slant, is that I need a 7800 or PRO3 as a sister to it. Wow..

Maybe I could connect a 7700 together via the Ethernet port to a FLEX 5000
and it could produce 7000's<g> Wonder if the Ethernet port is IPV6
compliant?
