Good Morning All
It's places such as this that help. I knew very little about my
Ameritron AL-82 when it failed How ever with the help on a Amp
reflector and a few good friends I now feel as though i can tear it down
blindfolded. Yes most amps are of a simple design but i did not know
how it worked until it failed. Now it work fine and it never left the
shack for repairs. I guess it would depend on the severity of the repair
and how much of that the operator feels comfortable doing himself.
best 73 &Merry Christmas to all !!!
