[ICOM] IC-746 (Original) on 60m?

Thanks for the pointers.  I used the previously unnoticed FAQ URL to
search for answers to my original question.

it appears that all I need to do is perform the mods.dk mod and there is
apparently no bandpass filter problem.  I'm still a bit confused, because
my IC-746 exhibits the "relay click" at 5.0 MHz  AND  at 6.0 MHz.
 
I reckon that I'll do the mod and then compare maximum power output (into
a dummy load, of course) and total current draw to be sure that there is
not a bunch of energy being dissipated as heat within heat within the
bandpass filter.
