[ICOM] IC 756 Pro III fuse over-heating?

In my experience, current draw varies considerably depending on
frequency and load.
In the past I have found that current draw for 100W out typically varies
from about around 18 to 22 amps.
With my 746Pro it was higher that on 6M and a lot higher on 2M... closer
to 25A or more if I remember
correctly (no longer have the rig). It also tended to be higher on 10M
and 160M.

On SSB, I usually operate the pro3 at 50 watts and the SB1000 output of 500 watts. I only use the internal ATU on 80/75 and 17 meters for a better match to the amplifier input.
