[ICOM] Re: IC 756 Pro III fuse over-heating?

Jim,

Icom used a couple of different fuse sizes. I 
can't remember when they started using the 30 amp 
fuses. I challenged some callers when I was there 
after they mentioned using a 30 amp fuse made me 
nervous, it was always 20 amp fuses in the power cord.
I could just see the finals being blown or crispy 
critters etc.  I had to consult the manual and 
then apologize to the caller for my challenge.
Well say either your 756ProIII is running way 
below spec on current draw or thats a heck of a fuse. :)
The OPC-025D is the correct cord. The "D" I think 
designates 30 amp fuses installed.
