You don't mention is what kind of tower and feedline you're using. Assuming coax and a conventional
lattice tower you should check out Polyphaser brand arrestors. If you can, bond your tower to earth
as well, it's required now anyway. This would best be done with multiple 3/4" x 10ft. copper clad
ground rods connected in series with the tower and spread over the area surrounding the base of the
tower (a delta pattern is proven effective) or at least in a line away from the tower. Ensure good
conductivity especially to earth. Don't skimp on the grounding wire. Don't want any weak links in
the grounding network.

I have a PRO3 and an AL-1500 amp. I will be using a CL-4 antenna and a 40ft tower. I'd likto have
static and lightning protection for all. Any suggestion as as to what type and brand I should use
and is it placed in the antenna, at the 40m and 20-10m feeds respectively?
