I don't see that it is a common problem. I have had mine for over 4
years and no problem at all. I have taken it to YN2 for contest and over
to South Africa. No problems at all.

don't mean to be critical, this is a common problem that has plaqued
this radio throughout it's production run. icom supposedly fixed the
problem in later production runs, but was a lie, very soon you will have
no output. do yourself a favor, get it fixed and get rid of it, even
though when they work, they are a great radio, you will be continuously
fixing it.

Hello,

Since yesterday my IC746Pro has 50Watt output power on 80m only, going
down to
3Watt on 10m.
Measured with MFJ VersaTuner and Dummy Load
SWR is ok, MIC and Power is MAX, reset did not help
Tested with SSB CW and FM and with both antenna outputs.
MFJ and 746 Power readings are in line.
ALC reading is low as well.

Any ideas, or is a ICOM reapair necessary?

Tnx for help
