[ICOM] IC718 power supply

My XYL just passed her General so we'll pull the  plastic off her new IC718 
very soon. We are in the market for a supply. Any 718  users suggestions will 
be FB. I wonder if anyone is using the switchers or  sticking with a linear 
type would be better. I wonder if some switchers are  quieter than others? If I 
can't be comfortable with some of the  lighter  ones maybe I'll just buy a big 
Astron & forget it. TNX
