Yep, you are correct Mike ...... One (1) Minute is the limit with XP

Hi Dick.
Unless something has changed (and it may very well have) Windows Sound
Recorder
has a limit of 1 minute per recording and only saves WAV files. Or at least
-
so it is with the one I have in XP. Is there an updated Windows version
that
does more?
It would have been real nice to have recorded the 17 band contacts I did on
the
Ducie Island Dxpedition just to rub it in to my <cough> non-ICOM friends. I
have always had a sound-card connection for the SSTV program. I especially
liked the SSTV signals from the MIR spacecraft. Wish they would do it on
the
ISS, but since my ICOM IC-820H went toes-up again, I couldn't listen right
now
anyway. That's one ICOM I wish I had never bought. 5 times since I bought
it -
toes up.
Well - - enjoy your Sunday evening.
Mike - KD9KC.
