[ICOM] IC 746 filter help

Hi Dave and all,
I've sent off an email to ICOM so let's see what comes back. Tried this
about a year ago with no luck. Maybe different people this time. I'm
surprised not to get more answers or comments from the list. I'll keep you
posted.

As far as I know, there is no way to toggle between two narrow filters -
only between wide and narrow. It may be possible to fool the
746 into thinking the wide position is one of the filters, but I don't think
so. I know the rig can be fooled into thinking that a 250 Hz CW filter is
actually a SSB filter, as I've done that with mine. I use a 250Hz CW filter
for PSK31. I have no doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
