[ICOM] Status of K7VC

Friends and Colleagues:

My surgery took place on September 12 and after two tumultuous weeks I was 
released from the hospital yesterday.  We will begin the drive home from 
San Francisco tomorrow and hope to arrive within two days.  It will be a 
few months before I will be able to walk unassisted and a few more before I 
will be able to lift more than five pounds.

My speech and typing will be slower than usual in the beginning, but so 
long as I don't fall asleep in mid-sentence  :)  I should be able to 
intellectualize and communicate reasonably well pretty soon.

Those of you who have assumed various responsibilities for me I would 
appreciate it if you would continue to do so for another week, until 
approximately Friday, October 5.  I should be able to finalize the actual 
ending times/dates as they get closer.
