[ICOM] IC-745 and 6-meter transverter

I need some help interfacing a homebrew 6 meter transverter to my 745. It
appears that any explanation of the interface and operation is not to be
found in the 745 manual or the 745 shop manual, so I guess this info must
appear in a manual furnished with an Icom 6-meter transverter. Since I don’t
have such a manual, I am stumped.

It is clear to me that the low level transmitter output for the transverter
is available from an RCA plug on the back of the 745. Good. No problem. That
makes sense.

It is clear to me also that, if I apply 8 volts to a pin on the accessory
plug, it energizes RL2 on the RF board, which then appears to link the
receive filters to something in the 745. My 745 manual says only that this
is for use with a transverter. I just don’t know where the connection goes.
I can’t trace it out.

Too, there has to be a way to de-energize the finals, so that only low-level
drive is produced.

Can someone give me some guidance? Is there information on the web that can
be downloaded?

Thanks.
