[ICOM] IC 7800..PW1..with DX4WIN

I have never been happy with the way the "point & shoot" feature on  
DX4WIN operated with my 7800/PW1 combo. It was some times intermittent.. 
had to hit it several times to make it work... I discovered that the 
DX4WIN and the IC 7800 love to talk to each other at 19200..BUT the poor 
old PW1 can't keep up so it will not follow[track] the band changes.

Solution:  Set your DX4WIN at 19200 and the IC 7800  CI-V baud rate at 
"AUTO".. The radio follows the "point and shoot " every time and the 
PW-1 now follows the band changes.

This might have been discussed before...not sure..

Anyway..anxious to hear from  IC 7800/PW-1 owners .to see if this works 
for you.
