*****SPAM***** [ICOM] ACC1 different in ICOMs??

Gary....
I wanted to give you a bit of info I just discovered on the IC-970.
I plugged in an empty 7 pin DIN to the ACC1 connector.

The microphone WILL work with the DIN connector plugged in.

While listening on another receiver, I flipped the SEND/RECEIVE over to
SEND...and touched each pin with a metal dental pick.

When I get to pin 1, I get the telltale sound of 60 cycle buzz.
So, why it is that way I don't know...but is it possible pin 1 is the
modulation input??

....Dave
