I set the RIT to -300 and turn the PBT counterclockwise to about 10 oclock
to get a lower pitch. This also reduces a lot of background noise by
narrowing the bandpass...other than that I don't think you can lower the
pitch... de gary, kd9sv

Subject: [ICOM] Pitch adjustment of IC751A

How does one go about adjusting the cw pitch control in the 751A? The manual
says it is set at 700Hz. I'd like to get it down to around 400Hz.

Any help is mucho appreciated.

Thanks,
