[ICOM] rotatable dippole antenna question

My experience at 40 meters (linear loaded Force C4s) supports the  
'half wavelength above ground' buzzard's tale.
What's nice about it is it is also a full wave on 20...makes my  
modest two element wide spaced sound bigger.
the interlaced tribanders are a real good bang for the buck  
alternative to the fancy stepIR...(boy would I love one)
