[ICOM] IC 725 Won't Transmit

Lee,

I was thinking LPL Loop is out of adjustment but generally that shows up
as dead spots about every 10 KHz or so.
Maybe the mic has gone bad. AM carrier will be easy to try, CW too once
you install a key. Do you have current meters on your power supply? If
so whats the current reading when you transmit in CW when you get to it.

I had a similar thing happen to me years ago with my then IC-730. Turned
out to be a bad antenna feedline. I would be talking along and the SWR
would raise to the point people were asking where I went. Took a bit to
figure it out about the SWR. Then I was living in Ohio, went up the
tower at about 10:00 PM in a small snow storm to change out some faulty
coaxial cable.

I looked on Icom's web page to see if there was any mention of your
trouble in the knowledge base and there was only the instruction manual
under the IC-725.
