[ICOM] Pro 3 Cw keying question

The key jack on the back of the ProIII is for a straight key (read:
computer). The jack on the front is for a paddle.

However, there is also the possibility of feeding paddle into the computer.
At least, that's what I do running TR. That way, the paddle can interrupt
the computer keying if needed and it's not one more cable in the front panel
getting in the way.

Subject: [ICOM] Pro 3 Cw keying question

Hey guys,

I am about to buy a Pro 3, and noticed there is no rear jack for a keyer.
Assuming I am using computer generated CW, using a contest logger like
writelog, how do I use a set of paddles? On my 746, it was simple. Computer
cw in the
rear jack, paddles ( and keyer) in front.

Thanks
