The Turbo Tuner will do the same thing, but uses the Icom radio tuner
control so you don't have any extra control head or tuner box to worry
about on the dash or console of the vehicle. Here's where you can
find more info: http://www.n2vz.com/
I have purchased one of these to use with my IC-7000 and HS-1800 Pro.
I received it today and plan to install it this weekend.
I note that this device got a couple of bad reviews at Eham due to
some faulty solder connections in the case. Before I purchased mine,
I had a talk with the owner and he explained that was isolated to a
new employee and that the problem was corrected and did not exist any
longer. The other reviews indicate that the unit works well.
