[ICOM] Icom and AM broadcast overload

I had just your problem happen back in my college days. I found that by
cleaning all the antenna and ground connections, my situation went away.
A dirty connection, in my case, was acting as a diode and detecting the
AM signal - which for me was about 6 miles away.

The clue being after you relocated a part of your station. AS crazy as it sounds, double check and clean all connectors and connections, including any antenna switches. It could be at the coax to antenna connections itself. Assume nothing. BC overload, not very likely, unless you are within a mile or two of a 50 Kw station. Good luck, Larry K4LXV.
