[ICOM] IC-756 Hand Mic Problem

Hi Dave,

Icom hand microphones do not have an internal battery. Neither do the SM-8
and SM-20 desk mics.  There is a +8V polarising voltage on the "hot" lead
(Pin 1).  Pin 2 supplies +8V for the internal preamplifier.

In fact, there is a statement in the SM-20 instruction sheet to the effect
that the mic is powered from the transceiver.
