Let's be sure we are being fair Dick. I don't think they said instead of Dual Watch we are adding the capability to connect to
another RX.

Matter of fact I think this is a great feature to be able to plug directly into another CI-V controlled RX.

I just think they have under-estimated the importance of dual watch to both the contest and the Dxing community.

I use my sub-RX ALL THE TIME:

During contests, because with N1MM the contest software I use it gives me two band maps, so I can watch two bands spotting activity
at a time and now when a particular band is opening for contacts.

Just got my first place for the 2006 RAC Canada Day Contest for the 5th call district. I OWE A LOT OF IT TO DUAL WATCH.

Being able to watch two bands at the same time during a contest is a great advantage. Works especially well at night for 80 and 40
to monitor both for activity at the same time.

And I especially use dual watch when hunting a rare DX station.

Many of the latest Dxpeditions I was able to bag because I could hear who was calling back to them and therefore was already on
frequency and after they made the contact it was !!!WAM!!! they came back without a hunt and peck method on my end and without
having to fight the pile up.

Saved me a bunch of time and trouble and then it was off to look for more DX on another band or two.

73 fer nw es gud DX,
