So far the target market is quite unclear. Provided the Pro3 is not
discontinued, the pro3 will retain its usual demand among most of "average"
people. The one who likes to put a Lamborgini on his desk will go for a 7800
with its full facilities.
Certainly all depends of the magic MSRP fugure. If the price is closer to
the Pro3 one, the absense of the 2nd RX won't be that important, as the ole
good A-B switch is clearly seen on the front panel. If it's closer to the
7800 one... Time will tell.
I tend to agree with the suggestion that the 7700 is rather a professional
clone of the 7800. Or it has a bi-market dedication, like the IC-735 and
IC-781 did.
