I am going to start looking this up, but perhaps someone has a quick answer
- faster than I can find it.

What is the status of the 60m band on a 706 MK-II G ???  Safe to work 60m -
or not?  Mods for 60m?  Other suggested mods?

Thanks - friend saved pennies for two years.  He is 86 years old, been
without a radio for two years.  Just got a new 706 and he wants me to help
him get it set up.  So I am looking.....
