Hi Warren,

Yes, the Pro3 and 746Pro are fully compatible with the 2KL/AT-500. You will
need an OPC-118 adapter cable or equivalent. I posted the following
information last Monday:

Icom used to make the OPC-118 adapter cable (female 24-pin Molex to male
ACC1 & ACC2). If you wish to make up your own cable, the connections are as
follows. The ACC(2) plug is a male 7-pin DIN, and the accessory plug for the
2KL is a 24-pin Molex (male if plugged into the 2KL, female if plugged into
the 2KL control cable.)

ACC (2) Pin 1 (8V Band Ref.) to Molex Pin 12

ACC (2) Pin 2 (GND) to Molex Pin 8

ACC (2) Pin 3 (SEND) to Molex Pin 3

ACC (2) Pin 4 (0 ~ 8V BAND) to Molex Pin 13

ACC (2) Pin 5 (ALC) to Molex Pin 7 (Mandatory!)

ACC (2) Pin 6 (TRV) NC

ACC (2) Pin 7 (13.8V) NC

The IC-2KL and AT-500 user manuals and other documents are downloadable

Cheers for now, 73,

Subject: [ICOM] 746/756Pro compatible with AT-500/IC-2KL combo?

Hello:
       Will a 756Pro 3 or 746Pro interface with the AT-500/IC-2KL amp? How
is that accomplished? Do they all track together like the older Icoms?
