I think the IC-7810 is Mike's best guess as to what the P3 replacement
model number will be. I wouldn't expect that replacement to be announced
for another year and it will probably be two years before it comes on the
market. I say that because from what I've heard the P3 is no longer being
manufactured in Japan, but ICOM still has about two year's worth in the
retail pipeline.
