Exactly correct. 

While looking for a source for the manuals, I stumbled across a web page 
that talked about tantalum capacitor failures.  I recall actually 
hearing the pop as that capacitor exploded.  As soon as I get the CD 
with manuals, I should be able to track down the problem.
