You can contact ICOMAMETICA giving your license information and they will send you the proceedure. Or you can contact whom ever you purchased the radio from with the same information, assuming you bought it from a radio store such as AES.
Don't worry about the IC-151 problem. It was fixed in production. Those that were sold before the fix have most likely already failed and been repaired.

Yes, many here have done the simple mod.
Cut 1 or 2 surface mounted jumpers (zero ohm
resistors).
Works very well.
Maybe someone will give you the web page showing the
mod with photos. I don't happen to be at the right
computer to get it right now.
