What I did was have a Lawyer friend write a letter stating he was on his way to his QTH to get the item. We heard immediately and got what he owed us.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, sounds familiar. I sent my XX- GXXA H/T to a supposedly
trustworthy repair guy in AZ and NEVER got it back. His statement to me
when ever I called or sent emails it's "on the bench in work" all of a
sudden no replies to calls or emails and he is now out of the ham radio
repair business. He's still around on 20m and I still don't have my H/T
back sound familiar. I would have taken it back in pieces if he would
have sent it..Isn't this a shame?, Mac/David
