Donald,

The memories can be used for ANY frequency you want to store.  For VHF/UHF
the information can include repeater offsets (normally set by the radio if
repeater mode is ON) and access tones or codes.  Just read and follow the 
directions listed on pages 30 through 32 and you should not have any 
problem.  Each repeater will occupy a different memory location that would 
have the frequency, offset, and access tone for that one system.  Several 
different repeaters can have the information stored.  Then just make a list 
that reads something like "Channel 1 Shreveport, (the frequency and tone)." 
The list would only become a needed item if you had to program someone 
else's radio for the same repeaters.   I am not familiar with the antenna 
you mention.  Here I use an MFJ base vertical on a 15 foot mast or pole.
