Hi All,

I have an Icom 706MkII-G and I'm a bit confused. I have read up on filling
the 99 memory "channels".
Does this pertain to ONLY HF frequencies? I would like to be able to put in
2m/70cm repeaters for
a radius of about 125 miles from Shreveport, LA.

I work with the local Skywarn bunch and sometimes their radios don't quite
make the outlying areas
that need to be contacted for information pertaining to learning about local
conditions in that area,
OR sending information to that area concerning upcoming weather events in
that area.

I'm in-process of building a 24', wooden, long-boom, vertically-polarized, 2
meter quagi to reach those
areas if possible and I would like to "store" those area repeaters
frequencies and 'sub-tones' to be
able to "talk" to them as needed.

Is this possible or would I just have to keep a "list" near-by and "load
them as I needed too"? I LOVE
this rig! But it would sure make it easier to turn one knob to change
"memories" then have to set-up
a different repeater as the lightning and thunder are crashing all @round.
;-)

Thanking you in advance.

Respectfully,
73,
