Hello Hart,

I have been running Digipan and MixW software for several years with the
Icom 706MKIIG with no problems. You might check to see if the 706 has any
off-sets in the programming for the transmitter/receiver. Some of the
digital software programs are equipped with an AFC Lock to keep your
transmit and receiver frequency locked together.

The Digital Modes are a lot of fun with the Icom 706MKIIG, but don't forget
to back down your power to about 50 % due to the duty cycle of these modes.
It will over heat your finals if you get too long winded on the keyboard or
as I frequently do send long messages.

Good Luck,

John Hart, K3KWO
