AF7A chased a noise into a neighbors garage. It was a heating pad the lady
had put out for their cat when it slept in the garage. Of course the cat
died and they forgot about the pad and used it to pile newspapers on. The
newspapers that were touching the pad were a dark brown and ready to go.

I have the same set up as you do. I still have some noise but I tell you the
noise on 40 is the worse. To further complicate all of this I have a
neighbor across the street that is generating a good S-8 noise and my
antenna is picking it up.
