[ICOM] ICOM 2410H Problem with memory

Having a problem with a ICOM IC-2410H Dual Band with a HM14 Mic.

I recently encountered problems with this radio that the audio was distorted
on the repeater and confirmed by tuning up .(ie 442.725/447.725  problem
cleared tuning up 442.730/447.730) .

I picked up some tech knowledge by reading on one of the email lists, that a
reset could clear up this condition so I gave it a try.

The memory all cleared and now the radio will not accept programming writes
from the VFO to the memory channels.

I was going to try another reset ... but thought I would ask advice before
throwing complete caution to the wind.
