[ICOM] HM-133 -- junko microphone?

I'm having issues with my HM-133 mic (default mic for the IC-2720).
It's NOT the radio, my HM-90A and bare bones HM-95 work fine!

Basically, I have to squeeze the mic in a death grip to acquire "PTT".
There's an audible "click" without doing that, but I guess the switch is
not fully "depressed"...

I've taken the mic apart, there's no obvious mechanical flaw -- and
using a small blunt object I can "force" the switch far enough to create
"PTT". The switch is NOT becoming desoldered from the PC board, or
anything like that.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Anyway -- seems like I have to replace the mic, probably with another
model. Any suggestions?
