[ICOM] Opinions wanted

I agree.  I have the 706 MkII and the original 746.  I love the 706 for a
mobile rig but would feel slighted with it as my base rig.  I bought the 746
new when it was the only one and have all  three filters in it.  Had I known
the pro didn't need the filters, I probably would have waited but the money
is spent.  I bought these as my "last" radios and am not sorry.  Again, if I
had the money as WAS going to get something else, it would be the 756 ProIII
if I could be convinced the display problem didn't apply to the proIII or
had been fixed.
