Modern: "Enemy of the State" starring Gene Hackman and Will Smith: The 
ubiquitous all seeing spy satellite that constantly sent "CQ" in high 
speed CW.

Ancient: "On the Beach" atomic submarine tracking erratic CW from bombed 
out US finds working transmitter with coke bottle tied to window shade 
and resting on still working CW key and transmitter. Sailor who 
discovers this rapidly sends "coke bottle on key". Gregory Peck waits 
two seconds and adds, "Window shade tugging on coke bottle." I actually 
impressed my date with ability to copy the code.
