[ICOM] ut-102 Voice Synthesizer Unit

How dose the ut-102 Voice Synthesizer Unit Work, I noticed when I push the 
mode switch it will anounce the mode, i.e. am , fm, ssb, etc... but it's 
supposed to anounce the freq as well how can i get this to work ???
Now as for my Rig is a 706MKIIG with the fan mod and the Mars/Cap Mod
