Hi Arnaldo,

You will need an OPC-118 or equivalent adapter cable (female 24-pin Molex to
male ACC1 & ACC2). If you wish to make up your own cable, the connections
are as follows. The IC-775DSP ACC(2) plug is a male 7-pin DIN, and the
accessory plug for the 2KL is a 24-pin Molex (male if plugged into the
IC-2KL, female if plugged into the IC-2KL control cable.)

ACC (2) Pin 1 (8V Band Ref.) to Molex Pin 12

ACC (2) Pin 2 (GND) to Molex Pin 8

ACC (2) Pin 3 (SEND) to Molex Pin 3

ACC (2) Pin 4 (0 ~ 8V BAND) to Molex Pin 13

ACC (2) Pin 5 (ALC) to Molex Pin 7 (Mandatory!)

ACC (2) Pin 6 (TRV) NC

ACC (2) Pin 7 (13.8V) NC

The IC-2KL and AT-500 user manuals and other documents are downloadable
here:

http://www.qsl.net/icom/manuals.html

The AT-500 autotuner is an ideal companion to the 2KL.

During the ALC adjustment procedure, the IC-775DSP output should not exceed
100W. Set the RF power control of the IC-775DSP just at the point where the
IC-2KL output levels at 500W, with the ALC correctly adjusted. The IC-2KL
power gain is approx. 10 dB, so 50W should drive the 2Kl to 500W output. The
775's ATU should be disengaged.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

 Hi All,

Could someone help with the wiring between the IC 775 DSP and the IC 2KL.

 Thanks in advance

 Arnaldo
