Subject: [ICOM] Quiet wireless routers?
I installed a Linksys wireless router the other day in
the home in preparation of getting wireless internet
service set up for my daughter. So far it is still
just running in wired mode for our 2 computers. Today
while chasing FJ/OH2AM I noticed that it is putting
out some nasty birdies on 20m, like every 15khz. One
on 14.030 is S9.
So, it is going back to Staples tomorrow for a
replacement, and I need a much RF quieter router. Has
anyone on the list found a good, quiet wireless router
that won't break the bank? After all, why spend money
on computer stuff when you can spend it on radios!
